Q   When can I place my order?

Q   When can I commence wearing the new 2017 uniform range?
A   From July 1 2017.

Q   How long can I continue to wear the 2016 uniform range (men's black shirts, and ladies grey/white pin stripe shirts)?

   You can continue to wear the 2016 uniform range through up until August 31st 2017.  After this date, employees can only wear the new 2017 uniform range.

Q   Can I contact Peter Taylors directly to order my uniforms or to place an over allocation order?
A   No.  All enquiries and orders are to go to the Organisational Development Team (HR). Please phone Natasha Todd or email uniforms@chrc.qld.gov.au

Q   Do I have to wear the CHRC Corporate Uniform?
A  
Yes, the wearing of the corporate uniform is compulsory for all employees of the Central Highlands Regional Council.

Q   Does Council pay for my uniforms to be altered?
A  
No this is at your own cost, please refer to the Corporate Uniform and Dress Policy Section 4.5.

Q   Can I wear my own black pants or skirt that aren’t branded with CHRC?
A  
No, however there are sometimes special circumstances and in this case you need to contact the Organisational Development Team (HR).

Q   What is my commencement allocation?
A  
First Year of Employment.  Employees/Contract employees are entitled to the following uniform allocation, at Council’s cost, upon commencement of employment:

    Full Time / Full Time Temporary (more than six months) / Permanent Part Time (working 25+ hours per week -

Four (4) Shirts or Dresses
One (1) Casual Friday polo shirt
Two (2) Bottoms (trousers, skirts)
One (1) Suit Jacket, Cardigan, Pullover or Vest
One (1) Tie or Scarf (if requested)
One (1) Belt (if requested)

     Part-Time, Casual employees -

Two (2) Shirts or Dresses;
Two (2) Bottoms (trousers, skirts)
One (1) Suit Jacket, Cardigan, Pullover or Vest
One (1) Tie or Scarf (if requested)

Q   What is my annual top up allocation?

A   Full Time / Full Time Temporary (more than six months) / Contract employees - 
     Four (4) Items: able to choose from shirts, dresses, trousers, skirts or cardigan/pullover out of the approved range

A   Part-Time, Casual employees -
    Two (2) Items: able to choose from shirts, dresses, trousers, skirts or cardigan/pullover out of the approved range

Q  How do I order PPE - personal protective equipment?
A  Your PPE is ordered through Council's WHS Team, please contact them to place your order. Please note: some position within Council require employees to wear both the Corporate Uniform and PPE, in this instance please contact the Organisational Development team to find out your allocation entitlements.

Q   Can I wear my own scarf or belt?
A  
No, scarves and belts are provided in the CHRC Corporate Uniform allocation.
